Enfield customs

Found these two funky Enfield customs at caferacerspecial.blogspot.com - the red ISDT-style bike bike is by McDeeb, who have also done some other tasty Royal Enfield specials, but I've no idea who did the black cafe but it's sweet.

Royal Enfield Open Day

This year's Royal Enfield Open Day at the UK importers, based in Blockley, Glos on Jun 25/26 attracted a huge turn-out of bikers basking in burning hot sunshine - and not all were Enfield riders either as this sprinkling of pics show.

Enfield unveiled their new bargain-basement 500cc Bullet featuring old-style black-painted fenders, tank badges, Avon Speedmasters and a kick-start added to the electric-start efi motor. On the road for under four grand (£3995).

The other new bike the company announced was a red-chrome finished Bullet Classic Chrome (already introduced into the US market and priced in the UK at £5295), also featuring a kick-start efi motor, which incidentally has been reintroduced following public request (and not because there's some deficiency with the electric start as some enthusiasts were murmuring).

New Her Majesty's Thunder tee-shirt

New Enfield Bullet tee-shirt arrived from Her Majesty's Thunder this morning - just in time to wear for tomorrow's Royal Enfield open day at the UK importers in Blockley, near Moreton in the Marsh, Glos.
Tee shirt and cool image are from HMT's website: www.HerMajestysThunder.com

Akrapovič Morsus

This is The Morsus. This is how Akrapovič  summed up the bike on their website…..
“Introducing The Morsus. A one-off. A showcase. Designed to capture your imagination. No-one expects such a creature from Akrapovič the leading manufacturer of premium, performance exhausts systems for motorcycles and performance cars. But then Akrapovič isn't like other exhaust companies.
We decided to build this machine with Dreamachine Motorcycles, in Slovenia to demonstrate that whilst Akrapovič is known for racing prowess, we have such a breadth and depth of in-house talent that entering the competitive world of custom bikes is a natural extension to what we do.
You can see the visual cues of the scorpion – long associated with Akrapovič. We have also managed to use materials that we excel at producing – titanium, stainless steel and of course carbon-fibre.”
The Morsus isn't for sale.

India-based custom motorcycles

Came across Silodrome (http://silodrome.com), and then found these funky customs built by RAJPUTANA CUSTOMS, which according to their website (http://rajputanacustoms.com) is a small motorcycle outfit based in Jaipur, India, building custom motorcycles on an order basis, modifying existing bikes as well as building them from scratch.
